Winston County is located in the northwest portion of Alabama at the very southeastern end of the Appalachian Mountains.   Terrain varies from low rolling hills covered with evergreens to spectacular gorges, picturesque rock bluffs, and hardwood forests.

Winston County is linked to major cities in Alabama and Mississippi via Corridor X, US highway 278 and the Norfolk Southern Railroad.   Likewise, it is linked to the rest of the U.S. and the world via the Birmingham International Airport.       
The Cooperative Improvement District of Winston County, Alabama comprised of mayors of the municipalities of Haleyville, Lynn, Double Springs, Addison and Arley; the County Commission and IDA took a big step toward making the vision of a countywide industrial park a reality.  
The Leon Dodd Building located in Natural Bridge is just 14 miles north of Corridor X that runs from Atlanta to Memphis. The building is a brand new facility offering 100,000 Sq. Ft. of production area with 21 Ft. ceilings and 5,600 Sq. Ft. of office space.
